VCWho? VCU (that's in RVA).

So I would not be a very good Richmonder if I didn't at least mention to my blog friends far and wide, the fact that Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) practically sits in my front yard. Still not sure what I'm talking about? Well, it's the NCAA Final Four baby. It's not that I'm that into basketball but when it comes to March Madness, you will find me sneaking peeks at the TV at every bar and forking out $10 for my office's tournament pool. (I did win 2 years in a row to the tune of $440 both times, but am now 3 years in a row of not winning.)

While I did not go to VCU, I was born in Virginia, lived here all my life and went to another of her fine institutions. Therefore I am proud of VCU for making it so far in the tournie. Here's a funny video if you're interested. It was done around 2009. There are a lot of scenes near my house, and the park overlooking a city skyline is actually my neighborhood.
